GAS TURBINE FUEL ADDITIVE
CONNTECT MSC-541 is a superior quality oil-soluble magnesium silicon chromium gas turbine fuel additive used to control corrosion and fouling in gas turbines operating with contaminated distillates and gaseous fuels at inlet temperatures below 900oC. It will prevent high temperature corrosion, sulfidation and control fouling. CONNTECT MSC-541 can be used as a preventive measure against corrosion and fouling due to vanadium, lead, sodium, potassium, nickel and sulfur. CONNTECT MSC-541 is free of sediment and will not stratify, degrade or settle out when mixed with fuel.
CONNTECT MSC-541 inhibits corrosion due to vanadium, lead, sodium, potassium nickel and sulfur, including sulfidation. It increases the ash melting temperature and modifies the ash to produce a soft, friable slag and forms a protective coating that is self-renewing and self healing. CONNTECT MSC-541 is normally used to treat fuels that occasionally fall outside the engine manufacturer's fuel specification.
CONNTECT MSC-541 is available in non - returnable 55-gallon (208-liter) steel drums. It is also available in bulk by request.
