GAS TURBUNE FUEL ADDITIVES

The CONNTECT MC Series fuel additives are superior quality oil-soluble magnesium chromium gas turbine fuel additives used to control high temperature corrosion in gas turbines operating on high ash bearing fuels including crude, residual and contaminated distillates.  They are also highly effective in preventing turbine blade sulfidation and in controlling fouling.  The CONNTECT MC Series additives can be used as a preventive measure against corrosion and fouling due to vanadium, lead, sodium, potassium, nickel and sulfur and are normally used where the alkali elements have been reduced, but not eliminated.  The CONNTECT MC Series additives are free of sediment and will not stratify, degrade or settle out when mixed with fuel.

The CONNTECT MC Series fuel additives introduce magnesium and chromium into the fuel which react with vanadium to form various high melting magnesium vanadates preventing catastrophic corrosion and interrupt the process of sulfidation from sodium sulfate.  They with inhibit corrosion due to vanadium, lead, sodium, potassium, nickel and sulfur.  The CONNTECT MC Series additives are used to treat fuels that occasionally fall outside the engine manufacturer's fuel specification at a magnesium to vanadium ratio of 2.5 3.0 : 1 and a sodium content of 5 ppm or less.
